Play n’ Go’s Iron Girl slot game certainly takes full advantage of the popularity that superhero themes have, with the genre proving to be a multi-billion dollar industry with the thanks to the Marvel and DC Comics franchises to have been produced.
The industry-leading software developer have managed to produce a Manga-style slot game with this title and have managed to produce their own superhero in the form of Iron Girl.
Indeed, our Iron Girl review managed to find a number of great things about this slot game from Play n’ Go that should attract players of all levels, with an attractive return to player rate and a number of attractive bonus features.
Gameplay
Iron Girl is played across a grid of five reels and has 20 paylines available for players to try and form wins on. Players can place bets from as little as 0.20¢ per spin, whilst the maximum spin is worth $100, therefore catering to players of all budgets. Players who are not sure on whether to play for real money are able to access an Iron Girl free play game, thus providing them with the opportunity to get a taste for the game.
Indeed, the buttons available to improve the gameplay experience are as expected from a Play n’ Go title, with them being simple to use. Players are able to use an ‘Autoplay’ feature, thus spinning the reels without interruption.
The lower value combinations are made up of the futuristic version of the card symbol that crosses the payline from the left, and it is the villain you want to watch out for. The authorities wanted these four people due to various crimes that have been committed.
When a big orange guy lands on all five reels in a line, the bet amount will be up to 5 times your bet. A green lizard-shaped guy is worth up to 6 times, and a purple woman with tentacles is worth up to 7.5 times. When the blue villain appears five times across a line, the jackpot offers a reward of 10 times your bet.
Feature Bonuses
Iron Girl slot game has a number of bonus features within the game, with the Iron Girl the main symbol playing a huge role. Acting as the wild symbol of the game, the pink-haired Play n’ Go superhero can complete lines of matching symbols by substituting other symbols or it can extend a line if she is towards the right side of the grid. However, she does not provide players with anything if she is on her own.
All superheroes have special powers and Iron Girl is no different as she can summon her armour at random times. When this happens, players will be awarded with five extra wild symbols on the grid.
The Villains of the game, though, perhaps provide players with the best bonus features as they reward players with the greatest payouts. When a villain is landed in a winning combination, they will be held in place as the other reels all spin again for free. If the same villain appears on another reel in the free spin, another spin is awarded. This feature can carry on until a villain is not landed.
If eight or more of the same villain is collected throughout the base game, then players will activate the Bounty Bonus feature, which is where two wilds will be added to the reels for the next spin, therefore making it slightly easier for the player to claim a big prize.
For players who manage to land 10 of the same villain on the reels after a re-spin, the payout from the last bonus spin will double in value, whereas 12 villains will achieve a 3x multiplier, whilst 14 will lead to a massive 5x multiplier.
RTP (return to player)
Our Iron Girl review managed to discover that this Play n’ Go title has a medium volatility level and provides players with a return to player rate of 96%; a figure which is rather standard across the Swedish game developer’s other slot machine titles.
