Becoming a magician with a huge platform can be as challenging as pulling off some of the biggest and best tricks – we imagine – as those involved in the magic will need to find somewhere to start showcasing their skills from the beginning.
Whilst there have been some huge talent shows to appear on TV in recent years, many would have had to take to the streets to show off their skills and Play ‘N Go have taken inspiration from that for one of their slot games.
This Street Magic game review will delve into the magical theme and provide players with all the tricks that the Swedish developer has used!
This Street Magic slot game features five reels, four rows and has 20 fixed winnable paylines available to form winning combinations upon. Players can look to form tricks for as little as $0.20 per spin, although those that prefer the biggest tricks available can place a bet of up to $100 per spin!
Bets are customisable from the bottom of the grid with the ever-present Play ‘N Go game panel that fills the bottom of the screen. As well as a vast array of different betting amounts available, there are also options to spin the reels automatically – via the ‘Autoplay’ button – and to spin the reels manually.
Players can look to win from ten different payable symbols in this game, with the playing card suits providing players with the lowest values. These are the four traditional diamonds, clubs, hearts and spades that are found on playing cards. The next set of symbols all offer larger payouts, with the handcuffs, daggers (that has an Ace playing card), padlocks, pocket watches and a golden ring.
The game also features a Wild, which is represented by a set of three golden cards that has the word ‘Wild’ written across it. The Scatter is the magician himself, and appears on reels one, three and five. Despite being the Scatter, he can also act as a Wild as he can substitute for other symbols to provide winning combinations.
Whilst the Magician has the magical ability to provide players with two functions, it is clear and obvious that he is Street Magic slot game’s most important icon. The first thing that players will be able to take note of in this game – or the Street Magic Free Play version – is that two icons will trigger the ‘Magician Performances’ feature.
In this feature, the magician will flash his cards to show one of three reel modifiers available. The first is the ‘Wild Shuffle’, in which four Wilds will be added to random reel positions. The ‘Expanding Man’ will see two of the game’s Scatters expand to cover the entire reels they appear on. If they land on reels one and three, players will be guaranteed multiple line wins.
The last of the reel modifiers available is the ‘Transporting Man’ and this will add the missing Scatter to form three of them and trigger the Free Spins feature!
When this feature is triggered, players will have the opportunity to choose from three cards to select how many free spins they receive. Players will earn either 8, 10 or 12 from their choice.
Any Wild that appears in the feature will be locked into place on the reel as a Sticky Wild for the duration of the free spins round. If more Wilds are landed, then extra free spins will be awarded. Players will have another opportunity to select the number of free spins they win; 20 is the maximum available.
If a Sticky Wild is hit on the reels, not only will free spins be retriggered, they will also pay out the value of a five-of-a-kind as well.
RTP (return to player)
Play N’ Go’s Street Magic slot game has a high-volatility and a return to player (RTP) rate of 96.48%, thus providing players with the chance of winning big when the reels all land in their favour!
