Perhaps a little obvious, but the Arizona Cardinals are a professional football team that are located within the state of Arizona, playing their home matches at the State Farm Stadium which is located in Glendale, a city just south of Phoenix.
The team is owned by the Bidwill family, with Michael Bidwill the current team owner and overseeing how the team performs in the NFC West. The team was founded as the Morgan Athletic Club in 1898, and is one of the oldest continuously run professional football teams in the United States and joined the league as a team from Chicago.
They are one of the very first two charter teams to still be in operation within the league, but have played in a number of different cities throughout its history.
Before being known as the Arizona Cardinals, the team were known as the St. Louis Cardinals after being located in the region between 1960 and 1987, before moving once again to Temple, Arizona, before finally setting up where they currently are in Glendale in 2006.

The Arizona Cardinals have had to wait for a while to achieve success throughout its history, however they have managed to win no fewer than five championships ahead of the 2021 NFL Season.
